jDownloads v1.8 Beta Build 810 Published!

Today i have published the next 1.8 Beta release. For users from the 1.8 Beta, it is recommended to install this fixed release.

Fixed:

• Bug when you will edit in the frontend a download by activated sef option
• Not removed placeholder in the summary page, when you used a layout from a prior jD version
• Bug in the frontend upload form (invalid token)
• Install method changed to upgrade
• Many HTML fixes

jDownloads v1.8.1 Beta Build 815 Published!

Here is the next beta release from jDownloads 1.8.

It is not recommended to install this release on a productive Website.
For installing the new release, use the Joomla Installer. It is not necessary to deinstall first the old version. Nothing data are losed. But make sure that you has a Backup from your Database.
It is recommended to update your prior beta to this version.

Fixed in Build 815:

• Problem with edit header/footer layout when Magic Quotes was activated in php.ini
• Problem with external files and download the file not over the php script

jDownloads v1.8.1 Beta Build 818 Published!

Here is the next beta release from jDownloads 1.8.

For installing the new release, use the Joomla Installer. It is not necessary to deinstall first the old version. Nothing data are losed. But make sure that you has a Backup from your Database.
It is recommended to update your prior beta to this version.

Added in Build 818:

• New option to use the category and download titles for the Joomla SEF URLs 
• New option to use the support for Joomla content plugins only in the description fields and not global
• Fields for header/footer layouts added in the JoomFish content elements files
